The cowl is knit in the round using knit, purl and slipped stitches. The use of the slipped stitches allows the colors to gradually merge together. The yarn and the pattern are provided in the kit. The finished cowl measures about 14" long by about 23" around.
The yarn is an incredibly soft superwash merino yarn, single ply, fingering weight. There are six colors in each kit, approximately 85 yards per color, for a total of about 510 yards.
This is an incredibly addictive and easy knit, easily memorized.
